Clowney has sports hernia surgery, out until July

On Friday, the Texans revealed that the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft has suffered a bit of a setback in his transition to the NFL. Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney underwent sports hernia surgery on Thursday, according to the Houston Chronicle , and it’s anticipated that he will be out until the start of training camp.
